Strategy
When equipped in Temmajin gear, a player should be able to lower his HP to the tamable threshold of about 20% by themselves. However, if you want to kill Nalrys, you'll need a very high DPS party. This is because Nalrys does a knockback kick when his health nears 5%, and a few seconds after doing so, he regains about 30% HP. This means that you'll only have a few moments to get Nalrys from 5% HP to dead, which can be quite a challenge. Of course, keep in mind that Nalrys resides in a PvP zone, so players from other servers can come and kill you if you're busy with Alpha Nalrys. Bringing along a couple of strong friends to protect you would be a good idea.

How to Tame
To tame Alpha Nalrys, you need an Alpha Nalrys Mark. Just like with Burning Roxinus and Cold Pyron, you need two separate recipes to craft the Mark: Alpha Nalrys Mark Recipe and Nalrys's Energy Recipe. Both recipes drop from Nalrys himself and Stygaea world bosses. Keep in mind that Finion and Calypos both require their own armor set plus a Mark to tame. Alpha Nalrys has the Haunted debuff, which decreases taming chance. It would be wise to bring four pieces of Complex Slayer armor when attempting to tame. These are not a requirement to jump on his back, but they'll make you immune to the effects of the debuff.

Seal stones are items that turn tamed familiars into items in order to either socket them into your gear for bonus stats or convert to talent points. Sealing Alpha Nalrys requires a Legendary Seal Stone and grants the following bonuses:
