Description
Karresh is a tamable Heroic familiar that can be found just to the right of the ice slope leading towards The Frost Keep in a large open cave, within Parna's Coast. The player needs to possess a Karresh Mark, in order to tame Karresh.

Taken from Bestiary In-Game

Karresh's location on the map
“The Tyrant Karresh is one of the most prominent familiars. Karreshes are believed to be cousins of the magantes, but were thought to be extinct until the recent reappearance of Exarahn. Since then, they have been sighted all along the coast. Researches have been pouring over dusty tomes to study these intriguing beasts. The Karresh's strenght can be measured by what it eats: snow cats and bears. To tame Karresh, one must combine the power of Troy and an Abyssal Coatra into a powerful seal stone. With that, you may be able to avoid the tyrant's belly.”
― From Bynder's "Between Communion and Dominion"
Strategy
The best way to handle Karresh is to train him around in a circle on the back of a familiar with a decent amount of speed. As, even with a Guardian or a Berserker, you won't do very much damage to him head-on, he is very tanky and hits hard. So long as you bring a small party of players, taking his HP down doesn't take very long. Always try to have a tank hold the attention of the beast, so as to allow everyone else to do all the damage.
How to Tame
In order to tame Karresh, the player must obtain a Karresh Mark which can be acquired in one of two ways. Firstly, it has a small chance of dropping off of any of the world bosses located within Parna's Coast, as well as Merciless Jeranin located over near the Broken Caldera at Divinity Shore. All of these bosses require a well geared raid group to attempt. Secondly, the recipe has a chance of dropping off of Rondo, the final boss in The Frost Keep it isn't a guaranteed drop, so you'll have to run it a few times before seeing one drop. It also has a low chance of dropping off Chief Mate KeelHaul at the Pirate Hideout.
Once the mark has been obtained, you may now confront Karresh himself. As mentioned in the strategy, the best way to go about taking his HP down, is to train him around in a circle to allow others to do the damage. You need to lower its HP significantly before any attempt to tame him can be possible. Try to make sure to lower its HP to very near dead to increase your chances of successfully taming it. Keep in mind though, with it being a higher level familiar, there will be an increased chance at failing with the level gap between the player and the creature.
