Description
Krooger is a tamable Elite familiar that can be found pacing around in a small area of the Frozen Prairie around the Sorma Plain, within Parna's Coast. The player needs to possess an Uru Statue in order to tame Krooger.

“Krooger's fangs are frozen solid and sharp as razors, a perfect tool for the land of cold. Traveling the Sorma Plains can prove particularly difficult because of this big cat. It seems the presence of a neighboring bear population headed by the monstrous Uru has made him particularly territorial. This big cat prefers the ambush its prey, so keep a close eye on your surroundings. Familiar-seekers may find Krooger difficult to tame. However, some local trappers insist that carvings of bears can help to distract the big cat long enough for safe capture.”

How to Tame
In order to tame Krooger the player must obtain an Uru Statue, there is a repeatable quest located at the small town of Hakoora called Krooger's Grudge, given by Grant, whom you can find just as you enter the place, to the left of the large gate. Once the mark has been obtained you may now go find Krooger at the location shown on the map. As with most all Elites, it is wise to lower his HP significantly before attempting to tame him, to prevent the chances of failing and having to acquire another mark. There are hostile Snow Tigers in the area, but most of them aren't within range to be of any problem to the player trying to tame Krooger.
