Lair of Ienos

Deep within the snowy fields of Parna’s Coast, Ienos lurks in his hideout. As part of the God of Ruin’s elite squad, the Fallen Legion, Ienos is hard at work on a mission to reinforce the Legion’s army. By collecting rare familiars and then enhancing them, he is able to make the army stronger than ever before.

But this kind of evil leaves a trail, and now dark energy has spread out across the land of Parna’s Coast. By following the trail of twisted energy, the Arcanum has discovered the source—the Lair of Ienos. The Arcanum has now put out a call to all Riders to assist in stopping Ienos and weakening the Fallen Legion!

How to Enter the Lair of Ienos:

First, obtain and complete the quest "Lair of Evil" from NPC Kouslo, located near the entrance of Frost Keep.

Then you will be able to accept the daily quest "The Mad Thaumaturge" from NPC Tolbern, located outside the Lair of Ienos. Riders will find the lair northeast of Icebreaker Camp in Parna’s Coast.
Once you complete the daily quest, you will receive one Lair Keystone, which is used to enter the Lair of Ienos. The Lair Keystone expires in 12 hours and must be used within that timeframe.

You can also purchase a Lair of Ienos package in Ellora’s Shop which provides a Lair Keystone.

Entry Requirements:

A Rider must be level 34 or higher to enter the Lair of Ienos. This dungeon is solo-only.
The dungeon can be entered three times a day using the Lair Keystone. After completing the dungeon, you need to wait 30 minutes before entering it again. Alternatively, you can pay 1 Ellun to be able to enter again immediately.

Ienos' Control Stone:

Once inside the dungeon, Riders need to defeat Ienos, located in the first chamber. Ienos drops an Ienos' Control Stone, which is required for taming the familiars found within the dungeon. The stone is untradeable, and cannot be sold. It has a 30-minute duration, and must be used within that time. You can only have carry one 30-minute Ienos' Control Stone at a time.

Taming Familiars:

Proceed to the second chamber, where one aerial familiar and one ground familiar will appear. You can only select one of them to tame.
The two familiars appear randomly selected from a pre-determined list. There is approximately a 10% chance to find a Heroic rank familiar, and approximately a 90% chance to find an Elite rank familiar.
Use the Ienos' Control Stone to attempt to tame one of the two familiars. There is a chance that you may fail to tame the familiar. The taming chance depends on the rank (whether Heroic or Elite rank), and the chance is the same as that of taming other Heroic and Elite rank familiars in Parna’s Coast.
If you have multiple Ienos' Control Stones, and the taming fails, you can attempt to tame the familiar again.
Beware of the unhatched eggs nestled around the chamber. If you get too close, you’ll awaken the bugs within who will swarm and attack you!
