Creatures location on the map

“Plains cougars are formidable opponents and best known of the Akrat predators. Their large size, powerful paws, and razor-sharp claws easily take down any prey that dares threaten them. They are always on alert and prepared to defend themselves at a moment's notice. They are not to be underestimated. They find nocturnal hunting to be an entertaining sport. Their powerful jaws can tear an opponent limb from limb. Golden eyes and keen hearing give them an incredible advantage in most fights. But, they do have weakness. The scent of male lions sends them into a defensive state. Use lion mane fur to distract and defeat them.”

Strategy
The Plains Cougar is found around Roche Ruins in Akrat Plains. It is recommended to bring at least 1 - 2 other players to help you lower its health to increase your chance of success. Be careful of the aggressive mobs around the Plains Cougar location.

How to Tame
In order to tame the Plains Cougar you need Plains Cougar Mark which can be crafted or dropped by world bosses around Akrat Plains. Recipe drops from Mohaban poacher in Roche Ruins near Sanctuary of water.
