Description
Straiga is a tamable Elite familiar that can be found flying above the waters just West of Reedwatch among a handful of Frozen Shriekers, within Parna's Coast. The player needs to possess the Straiga Mark in order to tame Straiga.

“Straiga is a magical dragon that haunts the skies above the frozen lands. Its heat-generating scales makes it extremely resilient to cold. Straiga charges its scales with loud bursts of sounds, producing a constant stream of energy as it flies. These wailing screeches can be heard all across Parna's Coast. To tame Straiga, you must combine the powers of a frozen shrieker and a lynic. With the powers conbined into a seal stone, you should be able to survive this magical dragon's attacks long enough to make it your familiar.”

Strategy
Straiga isn't a hard familiar to find, but once found is sometimes seen flying its route among quite a few hostile Frozen Shriekers, but it is possible to follow it around long enough to an isolated spot for quick and easy taming.

How to Tame
In order to tame Straiga, the player must obtain the Straiga Mark, the recipe for said mark can be found by farming the Elite wolf Lashaka. Once obtained, you can now go hunt down Straiga.

Also, Straiga Mark can be dropped by Young Megantes in Exarahn Badlands (Matren Mountain), but drop rate is very low (1%).

The mark also can drop off the enemies in Broken Caldera in Exarahn Badlands, along with many other Parna’s Coast Elite familiar marks at a decent drop rate.

Straiga can be found up around 75m above the water, flying in a consistent circle as shown roughly on the map above. And, as with all Elites, it would be wise to lower its HP significantly before an attempt to increase your chances of successfully taming it.

Seal stones are items that allow you to seal tamed familiars in order to either socket them into your gear for bonus stats or used to give talent points. When you seal this mount away with a seal stone in order to use it on equipment enhancing, you get these stats:
