Description
Terror Kerav is a tamable Heroic familiar that can be found flying in a triangle type route up around 350m in the Sorma Plain stopping briefly along the route at both Hakoora and Warhuul , within Parna's Coast. The player needs to possess the Chillwall Rune in order to tame Kerav. Kerav can also be used in the newly added feature "evolution" - the details can be found on the Evolved Kerav page.

Terror Kerav's location on the map
“Among Salant's followers, Kerav is known simply as "the flying batallion." It's not hard to see why the Arcanum's mages are so desperate for information on one of Salant's most dangerous allies. From what I've gathered, Kerav's ice affinity is so powerful that only a knight like Ashuram can withstand it for long, and even he must use a runic talisman of some kind. I glimpsed Kerav most recently on a trip through the Sorma Plains. At first, I avoided the creature altogether, but a nagging thought eats at me. If I were to gain access to a Chillwall Rune, could I tame the beast as my own?”

Strategy
When you find Terror Kerav, you will quickly see that he is always being closely followed by 2 Elite Blue Frost Wyverns. If you engage either of these familiars first, you will also instantly grab the attention of Kerav as well. It is wise and highly recommended that you bring a party of at least 3-5 people, when attempting to engage him. The Elite wyverns are generally easy to eliminate, but do be careful to not be idle in the sky, as if you by chance get hit by any of Kerav's attacks, he will most likely kill you in one shot.
How to Tame
In order to tame Terror Kerav, the player must obtain the Chillwall Rune which can be acquired in one of two ways. Firstly, it has a small chance of dropping off of any of the world bosses located within Parna's Coast, as well as Merciless Jeranin located over near the Broken Caldera at Divinity Shore. All of these bosses require a well geared raid group to attempt. Secondly, the recipe has a chance of dropping off of the last boss, Rondo, within The Frost Keep. It isn't a guaranteed drop, so with both methods, you will need to farm either of them for a while before potentially seeing either one drop.
Once the rune has been obtained, now you must find Terror Kerav in the skies. As mentioned in the strategy above, he is always being followed by a pair of Blue Frost Wyverns that should be eliminated quickly after engaging them. As for Kerav himself, you need to lower its HP significantly before any attempt to tame him can be possible.Terror Kerav is between 350m and 400m. Try to make sure to lower its HP to very near dead to increase your chances of successfully taming it. Keep in mind though, with it being a higher level familiar, there will be an increased chance at failing with the level gap between the player and the creature.
